[09 Oct 2002|04:38am] [ mood | good ] [ music | The Starting Line- A Million Hearts ] iUCLA trips are fun. its cool cuz so many people are going there. it's definetely a different college then UCSD.. alpha phi omega is a fraternity that i'm probably going to join this coming sunday. its not like all the others- it isn't a pain in the ass to join, its not expensive, and they do various community service work. it's similar to the other fraternities except that there's less drinking. joyce, who also went to los altos (a junior in college now) is in this frat and i have heard a lot of cool things about it from her. i originally hadn't planned on joining a frat, but after getting dragged to "board game night" tonight and meeting a lot of cool people i've changed my mind. after we left bgn, joyce asked if we wanted to go gambling with them. i thought about it and decided to go. lost some money on the slot machines..suxors.. long story short.. i ended up winning $47 mostly playing piagaw (something like that) poker. other people weren't so lucky haha. damn it was fun, ask me if u want the details haha. i screwed the casino and im never gonna go back there again...hopefully.... http://www-acs.ucsd.edu/~aphio/ check them out this starting line song im listening to now is good, download it im gonna do my hw now . wow.. all my roomates are asleep.... this is new.. 2 comments|post comment

[30 Sep 2002|02:42am] [ mood | frustrated ] [ music | SR-71 - Tomorrow ] san diego has been pretty cool so far, i've been having fun... moved in on the 21st and it took me a couple of days to get settled my room is decent, not anything too fancy but its liveable.. i like how i get HBO and high speed internet =). a resident hall's living conditions are not as good as an apartment, but it has a better social scene. i was gonna post up a picture, but my digital camera is being stupid the beach is like a 15 minute walk away, tennis courts are 5 minutes away, the plaza cafe is downstairs, and the library is next door. i still haven't been to REMAC.. which is a really big work out place.. its supposed to be like the ultimate perk for UCSD students.. i have 10 suite mates.. 2 indian guys, 3 white guys, 1 fob (that talks like terminator), one guy who is the axis powers (like ray), and the rest are asian. everyone is from california, most of em are from up north. everyones pretty cool, except the 2 white guys in the corner who rarely hang out with us. we are seriously like the loudest suite here... everyone stays up late. today , the cop just came in like 1 hour ago and talked to us for the longest ass time. we got our names written down, freakin rent a cop. this past week: i have been ditching a lot of the college planned events, because they are just plain stupid. they did have some pretty cool ones such as la jolla shores bonfire.. and dances.. i also went to a frat party. rest of the time was spent just hanging out classes: im taking four classes- calc, c++, chem6a and american cultures.. all my classes are 200+ students. so i guess the teacher wouldn't know/care if i was sleeping in class.. math is freakin hard, im already lost and i've only been to one lecture. even though i had a bunch of fun, i still feel a little bit homesick, i miss my bed, having my own bathroom and room... but then again i can go home every weekend if i wanted to. i've gotten into a bad bad habit of sleeping late... like around 4-5.. maybe that's why my heads been hurting huh? .................................................. damn i dont wanna go to classssss tomorrow.... 9 am DAHHHH 3 comments|post comment

[29 Aug 2002|11:06am] just got back from taiwan last night, its super hot over there but i had a lot of fun heres a list of things i did shopping - went to a lot of night markets mountain climbing whitewater rafting KTV drove a motorcycle met a lot of friends and family i was gonna go to hong kong but i didn't want to stay longer when i got home i got a letter from UCSD... my roomate is named Khan, i wonder what he's like? and ill be staying in the Galathea fleet hall in revelle. cant wait to move in! school starts the 26th i couldn't sleep last night.. now im tired.. [18 Aug 2002|01:47am] [ mood | silly ] [ music | DJ Sammy- Heaven ] dah i almost forgot how BORING work is.. i so hate it.. i need yet another break anyways i went to go play tennis with andrew , mike, peter after work.. its always fun playing tennis cuz we are so competative and we trash talk each other. i also found out that andrew has the same b-day as me.. same day.. same year. which is august 20th .. which is .. NOW hahahahhaha... 18 at last ..okay.. anyway.. i gotta find stuff to do like buy a lottery ticket, get a costco card.. i dunno.. what to do? oh yeah i have to pack for taiwain.. leaving tomorrow at 10 pm.. im excited, yet im not looking forward to that 12 hour plane ride , ARGH! hopefully i have access to a computer so i can go online. anyone want me to get them anything there? thanks to those for calling 1 comment|post comment

[17 Aug 2002|01:05am] [ mood | lazy ] [ music | The Starting Line - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now ] the concert was awesome.. im definetely gonna do it again sometime..yellowcard and sugarcult were absolutely amazing,.. i never even heard of sugarcult before too.. less than jake was alright.. a lot of the songs sounded similar though mosh pits are fun, but you get hella tired. i think i've been "tenderized".. a few bruises here and there.. and i kept on getting kicked, .. in the head too.. besides that i enjoyed it what an awesome weekend i had.. too tired to write more 4 comments|post comment

[16 Aug 2002|02:32am] [ mood | tired ] [ music | Avril Lavigne - Nobodys Fool ] vegas trip was alright.. we didn't do that much but it was good to get away from home for a couple of days.. we got back friday at about 6 or 7. i went home for a while then decided to drive down to hollywood to meet phil, jas, art, peter and mike. they're all pretty cool.. and unique in their own ways. it was late, but they drove all the way down from northern california (3 of em go to UCD) so i went. we walked around city walk for awhile- they wanted to try to sneak me into some club since im still underage =(. afterwards we went to thousand oaks and checked out a hotel room. a bunch of them are staying at the motel 6 in hacienda hts. tonight.. we're gonna have a lan party tomorrow at 11am. it's pretty fun hanging out with "klp" buddies.. most of em are older so its kinda different i have my ticket for less than jake tomorrow (6pm), so im going for sure.. must find more people to come along ...contact me if you're interested (i'll drive!).. i think you can buy tickets at the door. its gonna be awesome my aunt and cousin from dallas will be coming tomorrow too. thats it. post comment

wow im updating! [10 Aug 2002|02:33am] [ mood | weird ] [ music | Yellowcard- Star Struck ] summer has been going buy real quickly for me.. and it's has been great so far..lots of sleeping and relaxation heh so what have i been doing? mostly work, going to spectrum, and hanging out with friends.. and being bored - thats why i brought back this lj haha work.. is kinda boring.. the computer shop that i'm working at doesn't get many customers so i spend a lot of my time just sitting there doing nothing ..im fine with it as long as i get paid. upcoming events: aug. 14-16 - vegas ,i think it'll be fun.. we're staying at the venetian aug 18- less than jake concert @ glasshouse with jimmy and them? aug 20 (my b-day!!!) - ? - going to taiwan, sheesh i dont even know when im coming back, i think its a week.. gonna go by myself to visit family/friends. oh yeah i got david (gokingsgo) into punk music haha "minionized" thats it for now, update more another day 2 comments|post comment
